Broadmind Mining (Pty) LTD is a 100% indigenously owned Namibian company that is in the process of developing the Eisenberg Carbonatite project, and has announced its Maiden Complaint NI 43-101 Technical Report Mineral Resources Estimation – Eisenberg Carbonatite Project on Rare Earth Elements, Kalkfeld, Namibia in March 2022.
Broadmind Mining is on the path to become the biggest REE producer in Namibia.
In May 2024, the company obtained its Independent Preliminary Economic Assessment report (PEA). The PEA was compiled based on Scoping Mining Studies for the mining and recovery of REE with pig iron as a by-product. The Scoping Mining Studies were done on the maiden inferred resource that was declared in 2022. The PEA complies with the NI 43-101 Instrument, including the companion policy NI 43-101CP and Form 43-101F1
Further drilling is planned for upgrading the mineral resource classification followed by a Pre-Feasibility Study (PFS). The company received an Environmental Clearance Certificate (ECC) and we have now applied for a Mining License.
